The IT Department periodically offers short duration training in the major applications used at Juilliard. This includes Colleague, Raiser’s Edge, Angel  and the Microsoft Office suite. These classes are open to Staff, Faculty and special cases, Students. A training advisory committee comprising of a cross section of administrators is charged with assisting assist the IT Department:

* Identify training needs

* Establish standards

* Set a training schedule

Most classes run about 1 to 1 ½ hours long and focus on a handful of tasks. Specialized off-site training is also available for smaller, non-standard applications.

The IT Department strongly encourages feedback about its training offerings from the community.
